If you want to embed a YouTube video in your PowerPoint presentation, first make sure that you have the latest version of PowerPoint 2010 (which is available for free from Microsoft). Then follow these simple steps:
1. In the presentation builder, select File > New > Presentation.
2. On the New Presentation dialog box, click the Advanced tab and then under Embed Slideshow, select YouTube from the list of supported media sources.
3. Click OK to close the Advanced dialog box and return to your presentation. Now paste in the URL for your desired YouTube video into the slide text field and hit Enter/Return on your keyboard.
